Another Great Year for Beaches Library Comic Fest 2024

Beaches Library Comic Fest took over the Beaches Branch Library on May 4th, 2024 and nearly 900 attendees attended the festivities. There was music, cosplay, unique vendors and many activities through the day.

Nancy Flynn Photography was there capturing all the fun with a cool comic book themed background. She also snapped pics during the costume contest.

There were lots of giveaways and many attendees left with something fun from the scavenger hunt and book giveaways. The library gave away 55 free comic books and 56 free Dr. Suess books.

Other activities available were zine-making, a Rubik’s Cube race, rock painting, LEGO building, face painting and a superhero mask making craft.

The Ghostbusters of Middleburg had quite a fun set-up where you could play with ectoplasm, and members of Last Council Saber Academy were training new padawans with pool noodle light saber duels.

It was a great way to celebrate May 4th and Free Comic Book Day!
