The Beaches Branch Library celebrated their 10th year of Comic Fest on May 3rd, 2025, where the library was packed with cosplay and comics fans of all ages.
This annual event, sponsored by the Friends of the Beaches Branch Library, drew 870 participants over the course of 3 hours. The event coincided with National Free Comic Book Day, and the library gave out more the 250 free comic books.

The even featured 16 different vendors with items like handmade crafts, books, art and more. Upon entry, attendees got a Bazingo bingo card and after getting the card initially by every vendor, they could pick out a free prize.
The event was non-stop fun with a lot to see and do, from dancing to getting special FX makeup done to arts and crafts and more.
Many attendees came in costume and the costume contest had 60 participants in different age groups.
