Calling all young book lovers and aspiring artists! The Beaches Branch Library is hosting a Junior Lit Chat with Zoe Persico on Saturday, February 22, 2025 from 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM in the Community Room.
Sponsored by the Friends of the Beaches Branch Library, this engaging event is a fantastic opportunity for kids to connect with a talented author and illustrator, hear about her creative journey, and even take home a free book!
What to Expect at the Junior Lit Chat
This special Junior Lit Chat kicks off with a 30-minute presentation by Zoe Persico, where she’ll share insights into her work as both an author and illustrator. Kids will get to learn about her creative process, the inspiration behind her books, and how she brings stories to life with her art.
A Q&A session follows, allowing young readers to ask their burning questions about storytelling, drawing, or even what it’s like to work with well-known publishers like Disney Press and American Girl.
Following the presentation, Zoe will be available for a book signing, giving attendees the chance to get their copies signed and meet the creator behind the magic!
Plus, for those who register early, a limited number of free copies of Georgia’s Terrific, Colorific Experiment will be given away—first come, first served.
