Don’t miss our annual Beaches Library Comic Fest this Saturday, May 2, from 1 to 4 p.m.! Come dressed as your favorite character, meet authors, shop local vendors, pick out free comic books, and enter the costume contest.

About Beaches Library Comic Fest

Comic Fest is an annual event at the Beaches Branch Library, now in its 11th year. It is sponsored by the Friends of the Beaches Branch Library, and is the largest event each year, drawing over 1000 visitors.

Cosplay is encouraged, and there is a costume contest with prizes!

And don’t miss the Karate Demonstration with students from local dojo Asian Dragon Martial Arts at 2 p.m. (outside).

Enter the Cosplay Contest

The Cosplay Contest is at 3:15 p.m. but please register by 2:45 p.m.

Prizes are awarded for first, second, and third place in each category:

Group/Family Category
Kids (ages birth to 12)
Teens (ages 13 -17)
Adults (18 and older)

Cosplay Contest Registration: 1 to 2:45 p.m.

Lineup starts at 3 p.m. in the Atrium. Note: This year’s prizes will include several popular games recommended by and purchased from Darby’s Dungeon, a tabletop gaming lounge and store off Beach Blvd.

You can find all kinds of fun things at Comic Fest! Everything from handmade crafts to local authors with their books.
